Can I use any SIM card?

We recommend a prepaid sim card for SMS tracking. The SIM card only needs to have enough credit to send the current location of your FINDER to your cell phone via SMS. If you want to locate the finder per app, please note that your SIM card has a data volume (LTE). However, please make sure to recharge the SIMcard regularly, otherwise it may be blocked by some network providers.




How do I deactivate the PIN code on my SIM card?

Before you can use a GPS tracker, you need to deactivate the PIN code on the SIM card you want to use in the GPS tracker. We show you how to do this on different smartphone systems.

Do you want to deactivate the SIM PIN with an iPhone? Then please proceed as follows:
  1. go to the menu. Menu.
  2. then go to the Phone settings.
  3. In the phone settings, please click on SIM PIN.
  4. then press the green button.
  5. you will be prompted to enter the PIN code of the sim card. After you have entered the PIN code, the SIM PIN is deactivated.
Do you want to deactivate the SIM PIN with a Samsung smartphone? Then please proceed as follows:
  1. go to the Menu.
  2. then go to the  Settings.
  3. click on the Security item.
  4. Then you can deactivate the  SIM PIN under SIM PIN Options
  5. you will now be asked to enter the PIN code of the sim card. After you have entered the PIN code, the SIM PIN has been deactivated.
Do you want to deactivate the SIM PIN with a Huawai, HTC or LG smartphone? Then please proceed as follows:
  1. go to the Settings
  2. then go to the Advanced settings.
  3. click on the Security button.
  4. in the security settings, please click on  Set up SIM lock.
  5. then click on the item Lock SIM card.
  6. you will now be asked to enter the PIN code of the sim card. After you have entered the PIN code, the SIM PIN has been deactivated.
Do you want to deactivate the SIM PIN with a Sony Smartphone? Then please proceed as follows:
  1. go to the Settings.
  2. go to Settings, click on
  3. then set to SIM lock.
  4. click on the item  Lock SIM card.
  5. you will now be asked to enter the PIN code of the sim card. After you have entered the PIN code, the SIM PIN has been deactivated.
Do you want to deactivate the SIM PIN with a Nokia Smartphone? Then please proceed as follows:
  1. click on the Phone icon.
  2. then click on the three dots on the bottom right.
  3. go to the Settings.
  4. in the settings, please click on SIM PIN request.
  5. Syou will now be asked to enter the PIN code of the sim card. After you have entered the PIN code, the SIM PIN is deactivated.

I do not receive a response when I call my tracker

Please make sure the following things first:

– The GPS Tracker is loaded and switched on
– You have entered the correct admin number
– You have called the right number
Afterwards, please check if there is enough credit left on your sim card. Please also check if the mailbox and PIN of the card are switched off.
Under certain circumstances it is also possible that there is a bad GPS or GSM reception in the current area and the tracker cannot send current data.

How do I set alarms?

App-Locating: Via the app or the online portal.

SMS Tracking: Via SMS command to the GPS tracker.

How or where can I attach the tracker?

This always depends on your area of application. The GPS Tracker Basic and Plus have a strong magnet on the backside for easy and safe fixation. So you can attach the tracker without hesitation under a car, on a motorcycle or other vehicle.

Why does my tracker not light up after a short time?
If the tracker is not used for about five minutes, it will automatically switch to standby mode. This means that the LED light goes out. The Finder switches off the GPS signal, but keeps the GSM network. This saves electricity. However, as soon as the FINDER detects movement again, the transmission mode is automatically switched on again.
How can I deactivate the mailbox?

You can deactivate the mailbox after you have inserted your sim card into a cell phone. With most network providers this is then possible by pressing the key combination ##002# and then pressing the handset key. For more information,please contact your SIM card provider.

I have forgotten my device password?

Unfortunately, for security reasons your password is only stored in your device. However, we still have the possibility to help you by resetting your password. Just follow the reset instructions in the user manual.

Can I have the SOS Alarm sent to a police

Basically you cannot send the alarm to public authorities. The SOS Alarm, like all other alarms,is sent to the stored e-mail addresses and to your smartphone via push notification.
